Dr. Cassandra McBride-Smith

CEO & Founder of McBride & Smith Training Advisory Group

When you hear the words confidence killers or slayers in the workforce, what comes to mind? Paranoid ideation, reality, a moment when you look in the mirror and ask yourself, what has happened to me?  Why do I feel inadequate, unqualified, and simply all-around heavy in the office? Why are my coworkers getting on my nerves? Why are our leaders disengaged? Work processes and leader speeches are all starting to sound like lip service, no action – and the culture is starting to feel like a playground rather than a place for adults with creative minds.

Hello! I’m Dr. Cassandra Smith, CEO and founder of Mcbride & Smith Training Advisory Group where we specialize in quality training for employee engagement and leaders. I’ve written a book titled Confidence Slayers: Fragile Souls. A central focus of the book is on people managers and the impacts they have on others when they are leading with biases, blind spots, in need of revamping workloads or simply not being their best as leaders; My premise is that confidence slayers and poor leadership spearhead a lot of the imbalance in a place where adults spend a significant amount of time, at work. It is time to do better and this book and my training opportunities cover it all.
