Michelle Kaiser wrote her first book in 2020 at age 68. She travels to area schools and libraries to share the story of her real-life special needs calf named Special Ed and the anti-bullying message his life conveys in her writing. Michelle hopes to teach children kindness, empathy, and inclusion in her book series, The Adventures of Special Ed. In this commentary she shares the challenges faced in writing her first story and encourages readers to not put things off until tomorrow… it may never come.
