INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Jon Marcus.

On a recent Price of Business, Host Kevin Price visited with Jon Marcus, senior higher education reporter at The Hechinger Report.
The end of this year marks the start of the long-anticipated decline in the number of 18-year-olds, meaning fewer traditional-age students to enroll in college and fewer Americans with degrees coming out the other end to fill jobs that require them. That follows an already steep decline in enrollment, and growing doubts about the value of a college education. There’s some good news for consumers: As demand declines, tuition is going down when adjusted for inflation (yes, it’s still expensive) and the odds of getting into college are going up. But employers are anticipating a shortage of qualified workers, even at a time when college-going in economic rival nations is increasing.
