INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Robbie Timmons.

On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interviewed Robbie Timmons, with non-profit Thoroughbred Rescue, CANTER. They discussed retired Thoroughbreds, ages 3 to 6, being retrained, excelling in horse shows and enjoying trail rides with their new owners.
CANTER provides veterinary/farrier care, rehabilitation, training and marketing to CANTER approved adopters. An injured Thoroughbred receives life-saving surgery at Michigan State University. MSU veterinary students also benefit, as CANTER permits them to assist with all aspects of surgery.
Thoroughbreds are athletes, intelligent, have been handled by many people and riders. They adapt quickly to new environments. When they arrive at a CANTER farm, many have never grazed or lived in a herd. They soon learn how to relax and yet enjoy new training challenges. In race training they had to run fast to the left. CANTER trainers teach them to follow commands, go to the right, walk, trot, canter, jump.
CANTER has no paid staff. All donations are spent on Thoroughbreds.
Dedicated volunteers donate their expertise and time to help Thoroughbreds find new homes.
Robbie Timmons won 6 Emmys for Detroit TV News Anchoring/Reporting. Her news story in 1998 about Thoroughbreds saved 200 from slaughter.
