NET Standard is a common set of interfaces that Microsoft has created to cover a wide ranges of computers and electronic devices.  Xamarin is the version of .NET Standard that runs on popular phones and tablets.  .NET Core is the version that runs on computers, including Mac, Linux and Windows computers and servers.  Using this set of interfaces, developers can write software that can run across all of these different environments.  And now with the new dtSearch Engine .NET Standard / .NET Core / Xamarin APIs, dtSearch Engine developers can take a single unified code base and deploy that code base across all of the above platforms.
