With the life of a parent being so demanding with work and extracurricular activities and the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Sometimes we find ourselves focusing on the child’s immediate needs to get through the moment. That we sometimes forget that our jobs as parents are to raise adults not children. We have become a society that seems to lack the encouragement of independence and responsibility in our children. It has become such the normal thing to do for our children that it has in some ways stunted their growth.
